Sample documents: what you receive
Before you order, see exactly what arrives. Below are real pages from a complete company file, and the four most requested certificates of the Registrar of Companies. Click any page to open it full size.
The company file (€20)
This is the file of Bank of Cyprus Public Company Limited (HE 165), ordered through ESearchCy. It is a public register entry, so we show it unchanged. Bank of Cyprus is a large company: its file has 620 scanned documents going back to 1943. A small company usually has 10–40.
The registry's company report
The first part of every delivery is the Registrar's report on the company, in Greek and in English: name, number, type, status, registered office, directors and secretary (present and past), share capital, charges and name history, and the full list of filings.

Every filing the Registrar holds, with form number, date and page.

Present directors and secretary with dates of appointment. "Previous" and "All" show the history.
Every scanned filing, named and dated
The second part is every document the Registrar has scanned, as a separate PDF named by its form and dated, for example 021 - HE50-Certificate of registration of a charge, 01-03-2012.pdf. The annual returns and accounts are also in their own folder, by year. The red "Not for official use" stamp is the Registrar's own mark on file-study copies.

Share capital, registered office and secretary on the date of the return.

The accounts filed with the annual return. These run to hundreds of pages for a bank.

A mortgage or charge: date, amount secured and who holds it.

The Registrar's certificate that the charge was registered.
What each form tells you is in every HE form explained. How the delivery is laid out is in how to search a Cyprus company.
Searching is free and needs no account. A complete company file costs €20 (the Registrar's €10 fee + €10 to ESearchCy) — and until 1 December 2026 your first credit is free. Certificates from €40, the Registrar's fee included.
Official certificates (from €40)
Certificates are issued and signed by the Registrar of Companies. ESearchCy orders them for you and emails you the PDF. These are real certificates of a company we own. The company name, number, people and addresses are replaced with sample data, and the officer's name is blurred. Yours will show the real details of the company you order.

Who the directors and secretary are today, with their address and nationality.

Each shareholder with address, class of shares and number held.

The company's registered address.

The date the company was incorporated. In English it comes as a translated true copy.
Certificates can be in Greek, English or both. Express takes 1–2 working days; without express it can take up to 2 months. Good standing, share capital, no winding-up and a certified copy of the memorandum and articles are also available. Which one you need is in our certificates guide.
File or certificate?
The file is the whole history, every document, for information and due diligence. It is not certified. A certificate is one fact today, signed by the Registrar, for a bank, a court, a notary or an authority abroad. Many customers take both: the file to understand the company, and the certificate that the bank asked for.
Frequently asked questions
Are these real documents?
Yes. The company file pages are from the real file of Bank of Cyprus Public Company Limited (HE 165), a public register entry. The certificates are real Registrar certificates with the company and personal details replaced by sample data.
Are the documents in the company file certified?
No. They are copies of the Registrar's records as the Registrar holds them, for information. Certified copies and certificates are issued only by the Registrar, and ESearchCy can order them for you.
What language are the documents in?
The registry report comes in both Greek and English. Scanned filings are in the language they were filed in, mostly Greek. Certificates can be ordered in Greek, English or both.
